Cameron Diaz Honored With Hollywood Walk of Fame Star


Cameron Diaz attended the ceremony honoring her with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last June 22, Monday. This event happened in 6712 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the historic Egyptian Theatre.

Her older sister Chimene and fellow celebs Lucy Liu, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and film directors McG and Danny Boyle were there to support her during the event. Hundreds of Cameron's fans were also in attendance. Honored for her work in a wide range of films, the movie beauty credited the love that her mother and late father shared for her acceptance of the 2,386th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

"It was what has given me the strength and courage to live this extraordinary life and it is what powers the light that burns inside of me, bright enough for me to be honored today with this star on the Walk of Fame," said the actress. She was also quoted as telling the Hollywood Reporter, "It will be cool to be under people's feet. It really is the place where people can understand exactly that actors are not really stars - they don't exist in the sky, they exist on the ground just like everybody else."

Cameron will be having her next film “My Sister’s Keeper” being released in U.S. theaters this coming Friday, June 26. She truly deserved to be honored in with Hollywood Walk of Fame Star. With her exceptional beauty and exceptional acting ability.
