Jun Ji-Hyun, a South Korean actress was in Hong Kong over the weekend to promote her new movie “Blood: The Last Vampire” from the producer of Hero and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Jun plays the leading character named Saya, a vampire who hunts and destroys demons.Jun was best known as a bizarre girl in the 2001 romantic comedy, “My Sassy Girl” and as the tragic painter in the 2006 crime film “Daisy”.
I saw the trailer and the movie was full of action stunts. Jun did a great job and Chinese media was hailing her as next Michelle Yeoh which is also well-known for her roles in numerous other action films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
